Michael Fogelman
Program Manager for SOF Training and Operational Support
Mr. Fogelman is a recently retired Master Chief U.S. Navy SEAL with 22 years of special operations experience, including 15 years as an operational member of Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG).
Mr. Fogelman has a wide range of Special Operations Forces (SOF) experience including assault operations, high speed assault craft, and Preparation of the Battlefield. Mr. Fogelman is a founding member of TACDEVRON ONE (NSWDG) and was significantly responsible for the development and implementation of Preparation of the Battlefield TTPs, many still in use today. He is formally trained in advanced tradecraft techniques and is a recognized expert in NSW-specific Preparation of the Environment doctrine, policies, TTPs, and cyber security technologies. In addition, Mr. Fogelman has served in a multitude of joint and interagency staff liaison tours to include experience at the Central Intelligence Agency's Counterterrorism Center.
Since retirement, Mr. Fogelman stood up the RMGS SOF Training and Operational Support branch and has grown it significantly. Mike has been the sole provider for Village Stability Operations (VSO) training for four Naval Special Warfare Components. He has also administered highly successful courses of instruction in Surveillance and Surveillance Detection to Army, Navy, and Allied SOF. |
